Loyalty programs (or loyalty point systems) encourage customers to return to the stores they frequently visit through incentives and rewards. Some incentives may include early access to new products, additional discounts, or free merchandise.
Customers typically register their personal information with the company and are given a unique identifier, such as a customer ID or membership card, and use that identifier when making purchases.
