Suitability is a financial requirement that any investing strategy must fall within the financial means and investment objectives of an individual investor.
This legal requirement states that an investment adviser, broker, or other applicable party must present investment opportunities to their clients that will most likely fit a client’s investment goals.
Also known as: KYC suitability, client suitability assessement, fiduciary responsibility.
